Perfect designer staples without the price tag
As I write this, the weather is glorious and many of my clients are switching up their wardrobes: packing away the knitwear and assessing their summer clothing. Whilst I am a huge advocate of not overbuying for summer, I do believe in freshening up staples each season. These summer staples being t-shirts, vest tops and linen. Now I love a white linen suit for summer but I also want to enjoy wearing it without feeling precious about what I eat and where I go! This, for me, rules out expensive white suit options. So you can imagine my delight when I came across this beauty.

- It’s a linen blend (a mix of viscose and linen) so less likely to crease;
- It’s ‘off white’ which can be more chic than bright white;
- The proportions (slightly shorter jacket with barrel leg trousers) give it edge;*

*My style advice for barrel leg trousers : ensure they hit just above the ankle rather than wearing them full length - they will look way more flattering. These Uniqlo ones come in two lengths so I would opt for short unless you are very tall.

- There are four neutral shades to choose from, offering endless versatility;
- The natural texture (100% cotton) and the attention to detail on the neckline and arm holes.
